OUR CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

INTRO TO POLE!

Your pole dancing journey starts HERE!

Our Intro to Pole class is for brand new beginners or for those still getting acquainted with their pole dance movement. In this class, you’ll learn all the fundamentals of moving around the pole, introductory pole dance skills, conditioning work, and becoming more comfortable with expressing your own unique dance style.

We recommend taking at least 3-5 Intro to Pole classes before progressing to our next level class, Level 1 Pole.

Please note: our classes seat up to two people per pole. Our instructors will work in two groups, so you’ll each have a turn to practice on the pole while also meeting new people each class!

What to wear: For this class, you are welcome to wear any kind of comfortable workout attire. Please avoid putting any heavy hand lotion or body oils on, as this will inhibit your grip on the pole. Additionally, please avoid wearing any hand jewelry or be prepared to take them off and store them away until the end of class, as these will scratch the poles while you are gripping them.

WHAT COMES AFTER INTRO TO POLE?

  • In Level 1 Pole you will learn and master climbing the pole and begin creating shapes in the air. You will work on your conditioning exercises, and string together moves you already know into combinations. There is a variety of cool new shapes, spins and progressions to learn. Instructors may introduce foundational spin pole moves and elements of low flow.

Prerequisite: at least 3-5 Intro to Pole classes.

  • In Level 2 Pole you will focus on strength, conditioning, and technique!

In this class you will work and master your inverts, leg hooks, and more advanced shapes and combos. You'll be guided through all the steps for getting upside down and taking your pole shapes up higher on static and spin pole.

Prerequisite: Level 1 Pole, comfortable with pole climbs and pole sits.

  • If you can invert in the air and have mastered your leg hangs be prepared to challenge yourself more in Level 3 Pole!

Level 3 students work on advanced upside-down shapes in the air, handsprings, shoulder mount progressions and other aerial moves and complex sequences.

Prerequisite: Level 2 Pole, comfortable with aerial inverts, outside and inside leg hangs.

BUILD UPON YOUR POLE TECHNIQUE

From spin pole to choreography and heels, these classes will help you expand your pole dance movement!

Please note: all of these classes have prerequisites. Check the class descriptions to make sure you meet the prerequisite before signing up. If you have more questions about the class content, feel free to e-mail us!

  • This class is open to everyone embarking on or continuing their heels journey. You will learn heels technique, weight transfers, active flex and so much more to help you move with quality in heels.

You will learn a sequence with options and apply it to music with prompts towards the end of class.

Please wear platform heels, rubber sole or Pleaser’s to this class.

Prerequisite: at least 5-7 Level 1 Pole classes.

  • Take your heel work to the next level in Edgework Technique where we will be breaking down the fundamentals of edgework to get you dancing with your heels, not just in them.

This technique class will focus on drills, conditioning, and pathways to help you get that smooth, buttery glide across the floor and get this unique style of movement in your body so you may create your own fun and unique ways to slink head to toe-box!

Prerequisite: Heels experience and Level 1 Pole required. Sandals-style heels recommended.

  • Learn the sensual art of dancing and flowing in heels! This class is structured in two parts: A heel technique progression followed by guided freestyle prompts.

Heel progressions will be centered around edgework techniques (drags, glides, floats, clacks) followed by guided freestyle prompts that help students deepen their flow and connection to sensuality. We will explore slowing down, letting go, and slinking around.

Prerequisite: Level 1 Pole, advanced-beginner heels class.

  • SPIN POLE, LEVEL 1/2

Have you been attending Level 1 classes regularly and would like to work more on your spin pole skills? This class is for you!

Some argue that everything is prettier on spin...let's see for ourselves! Take the moves you already know from Level 1 and put them on spin pole. Learn how to dance while controlling speed and momentum, building spin tolerance, and creating stunning upright shapes.

*This is not a beginner class. Student should have completed multiple Level 1 Pole classes and be comfortable with pole climbs and sits on static pole before taking this class.

SPIN POLE, LEVEL 2 & UP

In this class, you'll continue working on refining your technique on spin pole while working on more complex aerial shapes and sequences on the pole.

Prerequisite: Level 2 Pole, comfortable with aerial inverts and outside and inside leg hang on static pole.

  • Take yourself on a journey around the lower part of the pole. Connect the floor and the pole with seamless and sexy transitions. Explore this unique and beloved style of pole dance with endless possibilities for combinations and choreography phrasing. Our instructors will be your ground control as you discover new worlds of movement.

Prerequisite: At least 3-5 Level 1 Pole classes.

  • A class designed for people who are ready to refine and perfect their existing trick repertoire. This class primarily works on spin pole, but all moves work well on static pole with modifications available. The name "Milk the Move" embodies the essence of extracting every drop of fluidity and grace from your movements. This class will help you move beyond isolated tricks to being able to take your expression and flow to aerial tricks. What to expect: A class that focuses on the “how” and not the “what” (don’t expect 5 new tricks every class).

Prerequisite: solid invert (does not have to be aerial but needs to be a solid grounded invert). Moves in this class are primarily taught on spin pole, but everything can be done on static pole and modifications are available. Some beginner spin experience is recommended but not required.

  • In Pole Choreography you'll embrace sensuality through fluid, undulating movements. We'll explore body waves, hip rolls, and floorwork, allowing you to connect deeply with your body. Heels are optional, and kneepads are highly recommended for ease during floorwork. Feel free to wear layers to enhance your experience. This class is all about flowing through movement while building strength, confidence, and self-expression.

    Heels optional, Kneepads recommended

Prerequisite: At least 3-5 Level 1 Pole classes

  • Strengthen and condition your pole skills here! We will drill and repeat exercises on and off the pole, build stamina, train active flexibility, and work towards achieving your pole goals. Conditioning is great practice for building upon your movement practice and strengthening your body for more dynamic moves.

    Prerequisite: Level 1 Pole

  • Learn holistic sequences which will take you from the ground to the air in this fluidity class. This class will help you sharpen your flow skills by focusing on details—gooey and connected mounts, dismounts, and transitions. It will teach you how to fill in the gaps and move with grace and intention.

Prerequisite: Level 1 Pole, strong pole climb, pole sit, and working on inversions.

  • Are you ready to bring more athletic aspects into your pole journey? This class is for you! In this class, pole is a sport. It’s time to start nailing those nemesis pole tricks you’ve been dreaming about and putting them into fun athletic combos.

This is a mixed level class that will have modifications for all levels, but we recommend you have a solid invert before taking this class.

In this class hands-on spotting and adjustments are provided by the instructor.

Prerequisite: Level 2 Pole, strong invert.

FLEXILIBITY

We also offer our Flexibility class to help you enhance your range of motion through active and passive stretch work. This is an open-level class that will guide you through a warm-up activation before moving you through a series of stretches.

Open to all levels of flexibility!
